About Gareth

Gareth Woodham AAPI CPV has been conducting property valuations across Sydney and Melbourne for more than 20 years.

Gareth attended the University of Technology Sydney from 1992 to 1998 and graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Land Economics. Shortly thereafter, Gareth was registered as a valuer, and began practising as a valuer acquiring experience with a vast range of residential, commercial and industrial properties across both Sydney and Melbourne. During this time, Gareth conducted valuations for major banks and financial institutions, lawyers and accountants, for a range of purposes including: mortgage security, statutory assessment, mercantile recovery and family law.

Gareth became a Licensed Buyers Agent in 2015, while actively conducting valuations of residential, commercial and industrial properties in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide metropolitan areas.

Since joining the Suburbanite team in 2016, Gareth has worked with hundreds of clients to secure properties across Australia, while providing valuation reports as Expert Witness for NCAT, the Federal Circuit Court, the Family Court of Australia, NSW Supreme Court and the Family Justice Courts of Singapore, including cross-examination, expert conclave, and preparation of joint reports.

As a fully qualified Certified Practising Valuer, Gareth is able to assist property investors with the best possible advice that only a property expert can provide.

Unlike other firms, Suburbanite, never work for developers, and do not sell developer stock. So, you can be sure that the advice is independent and we’re always looking after your best interests. Our policy is that we do not give or receive kickbacks at any time. This differs from some firms who source investment properties through developers – in other words, they are paid by the developer to sell the property.
